"Leah." The man's lips brushed the back of Leah's neck, searing hot in the room's cool air. Leah was all too aware of the height the other man had on him, the extra muscle. "A very handsome name. You can call me Antony."
Leah wondered for a second if, in turn, that was Antony's real name, but then he spun Leah on his heel. Leah stumbled and then they were chest to chest, the buttons of Antony's doublet cold on Leah's bare skin. He cupped Leah's chin in his hand and forced it up so that Leah had to look him in the eyes. The thought was forgotten.
Antony's other hand trailed down Leah's naked chest, just the slightest brush of fingertips. Leah felt the little hairs stand up on end and shivered. His heart beat rabbit-fast. The worst part was that Antony seemed entirely pleased by that- his wide palm settled on Leah's sternum and Leah watched the smile that spread across his face. For a moment he seemed content to do nothing but feel the reverberation.
"Nervous, Leah?"
Leah's fingernails dug into his palm. "I'm fine."
"Now, now. Don't lie to me." The pad of his thumb dragged across Leah's bottom lip. For a moment Leah was afraid the paint would smear, but it seemed firmly fixed. "You're not very good at it."
